Oh dear. Kathleen Turner was snapped walking around Florida recently and it looks like she's literally become a human whale. The once svelte actress has clearly let herself go and it seems that her best friend these days is the buffet table. Everything has gone to shit what with her fuck off massive head, beer belly and her features are almost nowhere to be seen. DeleteHer Medical Issue and Treatment caused this. She lost a lot of weight and is working on losing more weight to become a Healthier Size.
DeleteKathleen actually has an autoimmune disease and her weight gain and bloating is a side effect of her treatment (corticosteroids). She is very public about this.

ReplyDeleteRheumatoid arthritis is a terrible and painful disease. Its often so painful sufferers can't move. Kathleen Turner has been through many surgeries and has to take drugs to cope with the pain. RA drugs cause bloating and swelling. She's a talented actress still and I admire her very much.

ReplyDeleteA lot of people can be shallow, and only think about bloody looks. That's their problem. Ms Turner has given us her great talent and she deserves respect for that.

A lot of people are older, and have autoimmune conditions and don't use those as an excuse to indiscriminately smoke, booze, and overeat (she admittedly does these things). Those people are aging gracefully as a result. Stop defending giving up.
ReplyDeleteI have rheumatoid arthritis and have been on Remicade by infusion every six weeks for the last eight years and I don't look any thing like that. That's an excuse. Kathleen Turner is a known alcoholic. If she layed off the booze and got some exercise, she'd be better off for her health and her looks

DeleteNot every drug works for every person, just because one method works for you doesn't mean that it works for another obviously or there would be no need for more than one kind of medication. Also there are varying degrees of rheumatoid arthritis ,mine unfortunately is a very aggressive and debilitating one that has proven to be more than crippling . As of yet they have not discovered one medication or treatment that has been successful for me, except for prednisone ,which happens to be a steroid and it doesn't matter who you are, steroids bulk you up ,cause a "moon face" and totally change your appearance. No one chooses to be crippled and debilitated ,it is demoralizing, devastating, emotionally and spiritually draining and unless you have actually been afflicted by such a disease there is NO POSSIBLE WAY ON EARTH for you or anyone to relate. Instead try some compassion ,kindness, and empathy instead of the cruel,belittling, selfish and lack of your own self respect that your comments relay.

Surely you have been in your doctor's office and witnessed others with more and others with less severe degrees of the same disease. Shame on you,and I truly pray that God heals you completely and that you honestly never know how truly severe this unforgiving disease can be.But at the same time I would ask God to reveal to your heart exactly how devastated a heart and spirit can become trapped in a body afflicted by constant and crippling pain and anguish .
